Exercise

Your child’s health will benefit in many ways with 60 minutes or more of moderate to vigorous exercise or play every day. Vigorous activity results in your child breathing hard. Remember these 60 minutes do not need to be done all at one time. So:

First, check with your child’s pediatrician
It’s OK to start slow
Younger children will spontaneously play
A great time to get active is after a long school day
Make exercise a family affair
